pacth 1.51

hey i posted a wee while ago about the patch and well heres the newest update on it looks like its gona be a while



So what is happening with BF2142 1.51?

Well as you probably know I own BF2/2142 and now BFBC2 PC which currently needs a lot of TLC to get it up to standard.

That doesn't mean I have forgotten BF2142 v1.51 though. Niklas (the programmer) is with me on BFBC2 as well and is lined up to work on BF2142 once we can leave BFBC2 alone for a while on its own

As some might remember, our build machine HDD also died so Niklas is going to have to rebuild the build scripts for BF2142.

We do have some good content coming in 1.51 too including BF2142 version of Operation Blue Pearl, removal of SecuROM and Safedisc DRM from the exe file and some unmentioned content from Jason Brice who made us Operation Shingle (which he has also fixed the bridge glitch on).

So BF2142 v1.51 is at least a few months out but it is certainly still coming and we haven't forgotten about it.

thats a good news so maby by the end of this year it will be out

i think its kinda bad news to be hoenst consdering the patch was ment to have been releasled a long time ago, just seems to be more delays and lets face it there probally going to be patching bc2 for a wee while

Are you talking about new maps for BF 2142 ?

yea the patch has new maps for 2142 in it mate

i heard they are going to take down the battlefield 2 servers and leave the engine for 2142 bc2 and the soon to be 1943 so many people who cant run bc2 will switch to 2142 so there may be an influx of new people for my zeller to greet.

I can't exactly found how many Bad Company 2 EA sold ?

I just found 4 millions in USA in march.

i read on a forum that one of the maps is inf orientated with an emphasis on small bottleneck battles, This is going to be amazing!

just saw a screenshot of a map, its just fucking strike and karkand from bf2 no buildings remoddled or anything, just snowy. let down

i never played bf2 so will feal like anew map for me
