Bf2142 Clanmod 3.02

Hey guys just wondering do any of you guys play or have clan mod for bf2142 ?

Ah Matty, don't be getting all these poor folks into clanmod where they'll learn bad habits such as box bobbing that'll make em fodder for rockets

i don"t... and sorry if i seem a bit noobish but ain t play 2142 for months and....what is clanmod ?

Clanmod is a modded version of 2142 that removes most of the toys and leaves you with the slightly reworked stock weapons and a few basic extras like the shotgun attachment and grenades. It can help improve your aim and grenading skills and most clanmod players I've met can out-shoot me but it has one major flaw and this is why I don't play it. You pick up very bad habits along with the good shooting. The average clanmod player tends to work in the same pattern the whole time. You can almost guarantee they'll play as assault and have the shotgun attached. They'll hide behind boxes and bob up and down. They'll avoid upper level catwalks. They'll pick the same handful of spots when capping flags. This is bad. A pattern will leave you vulnerable and in 2142 hugging cover will just result in pk rockets exploding on top of you.

Yeah i dont play with good shooting as my hit reg is awefull and takes me nearly a clip to kill i play with tactics

Tactics don't come from clanmod though. Clanmod limits your options and thus limits your tactics. You will be very good at these limited tactics but the problem is you become too predictable. Anyways thats enough from me about this. My stance on clanmod is fairly clear and you've heard it all already as well Matty from when I was at UK-F. I'll leave it up to the others and let them decide for themselves.
