Who still plays 2142?

Hi, just a quick question, who still plays BF2142? I haven't (and probably won't) bought Bad Company, 2 of my house mates have it and I haven't been that drawn in by what I've seen. I'm also trying to save money atm so just another reason not to buy it.

Anyway the reason I ask is because the only person I seem to play with any more is r3birth (which is fine, being my brother we can easily arrange when to play and we work well together) but I kinda miss the amazing matches we had where there were 6 or so clan members completely owning a server.

Don't feel bad for playing BC2, it is a sequel so naturally should be better than 2142, I just wanted to know who still plays

i was on once or twice past 2 weeks and i will be coming back to it
i hope that the mach with 24/7 regulations will going to hapend

I will plead guilty to playing bc2 all the time at the moment. I didnt like it for quite a while but i see its good points now. i would highly recomend you buying it,. As to bf2142. I seem to have more problems with lag on bf2142 than i do on bc2. Bf2142 is the better game overall and I do love it . I will still play it but it is going to be a while till i get back on as i am still getting over the novelty of bc2

Im the same tried 2142 the other nite, though it took me a while to get into it , as bc is what i like in a combat game. though 2142 is the first online game ive played/ bf2,1942 also/ its the one ive played the most. so ive not given up on it..... p.

I play bf2142 one or two times a week. The music is better.

The difficulty for me is the keys are not the same. I've become a bader gunship pilot

These game are really different, for example in bad company when you are alone you cannot survive, you need a good squad.

Rush game mode is interesting and new, have you try it ?

I think you should try bc2 . Like capitain says you need to be in a good squad to get anywhere. I would say that the games we are having on the tod bc2 server are very good. If you enjoyed the squad play on bf2142 then you will enjoy this. Needs some getting used to. But I am a fully committed convert now. It would be nice if you could join us. I seriously think you could grow to love it.

I'm sure I would like it but right now I am a student with no income and I am saving up to move into a new house with my fiancee which will include paying all the set up costs and furniture etc so don't really want to spend any more money right now. Also I have too many games that I haven't completed so I'm working through them slowly :p I may get BC2 at some point but right now I'm still happy with 2142.

i play it evryday and play bc2 as a change when u guys come on =]

ill be on alot more, i cant stand bad company 2 anymore its just like CoD with people running around with noob tubes.

i will hopefully be getting back on soon, ive got a new wireless router and im just clearing up my pc atm just trying to give it any little boost i can. it shouldnt take me much longer before im back on bf2142

good to see u back Shadow I haven't see u in ages

finaly re-installed bf2142 i forgot how long installing the patch takes though ill get my x-fire and teamspeak back up asap allthough i may need some help with the teamspeak as its changed to ts3 now

switching over should be fairly easy, its very similar to TS2 There is a forum thread about it and I have explained how to add phonetics to it. Just let me know if you're having problems, good to have you back

very simple shadow, just install ts 3 then go to the home page and click the connect logo, then just set up your settings
