2 Questions about 2142....

hey all !
i don't know where to put this topic, so , it will be there, lol
just because i have 2 questions about the game, sure expreienced players like u will be able answer :

1/ what means "Best Kill Streak" ?
i mean, what must i do to get one more ? i already have 9/10, to get the legion of merit ribbon and the soldier merit one, but i didn't really understood what i've done to already have 9, lol , and i just need one more for these ribbons...
can someonnnne helllllllllllllllllp me about this please ? ( sorry for noobish questions lol )

2/ what is that gun ???
the other day i killed a guy and take his pack/kit ... and
this ....... (no bad language lol ) had a gun i never see before, a ....in big one, looking like a kind of assault weapon
or the carabine lambert of the sniper, i didn't noticed the name, and i never seen it before.... it's not in the list of weapons...
So do someone know what is that gun ?? and how to get it ?

A kill streak is related to the amount of people you kill before dying yourself. So if before you die you kill 12 people and then you die, then 12 is your kill streak and obviously if 12 is the highest that anyone gets in the round then that is the best kill streak. So to get one more ........well stop dying and start killing.....lots and lots. You may be best off playing on smaller servers to give yourself the best chance.

As to the gun. I think maybe it was the Baur. It is part of the assault kit. I dont see many people using it as it has a small magazine and kicks quite a bit but it does more damage than the voss. Lets face it though the voss is the best all round gun in the game. Why use a baur when you can use the voss.

Or it could be one of the standard support weapons. Anything else you can say to describe it? What was the kit? Was it recon, support or assualt?

P.S. There are no NOOB questions. Have you not seen my posts? Everyone knows something no one else does. I am learning all the time (Far Pods, Knife fights etc). Keep on asking.

when i look at my stats, my best kill streak series is 33 kills....
does that mean i must kill 34 guys without dying in a round to get my 10/10 best kill streak for the ribbon ?
that seems a lot to me...lol i even don't know how i manage to get 33 lol...

But for the gun, no it wasn't Baur, ( i know we are few to use it but i love this gun, makes big damages on short range, and very efficient on one shot mode, you can aim far with it , believe me it's a great gun if u alternate type of shooting, sometimes i feel like snipin with lol, but sure its problem is that u have to reload after each 2 kill lol )

I'm sure of this : this weapon IS NOT in any kit list, i have already unlocked everything except 4 NS items...i have all guns...
...But This one is HUGE, and seems to be a kind of assault/snipe weapon, very well designed, and powerful, i kill 2 guys with, was feeling like havin a giant Voss in my hands...
Sry i don't remember anything else about cause i've been killed quick after ... i only see this gun for few mins...But sure I never see it before...

U think it's possible EA gives special weapons to unlock for highests generals ?

it may have been the ganz because the ganz looks different in your hands to what pictures ive seen of it

no, it may hapend that y will kill 10 an it will be enought your killing streak have to be best of all players in a round, so if everyone else will be dying every 3-4 kills and u will manage to kill 8 without dying u will get your aword

i think i know what gun u talking about ( just cant remember the name of it) its hard to find that gun on battlefield this days,
basicly it a diferent skin for SCAR and its sounds bet diper (lower) but its still same damage as SCAR
back in days it was given as extra bonus to the game by one of the online shops selling bf2142
tray google skin for SCAR it might come up

Sure u must be right for the gun Jemiol, cause it's not a ganz , believe me i use every gun iin the game, and this one do not appear in my lists...i didn't know there was such kind of special wep...gonna take a look on the web to search for the skin !!
so the guy i killed most be a long time gamer...

As to the baur Space marine. I agree it is a good gun and it does have its own good qualities, But for me the kick and constant reloading is annoying and i find the voss more forgiving and I need all the help I can get. I tend to blame the gun if I am not playing well Of course it has nothing to do with my awareness and reactions or how good the the other player is...... damn gun

i found it two times on guys i kill, and lol crack as u say, i didn't want to die just to finish the game with lol !!

And SUre Kev i found too the Voss better than the Baur, in most of the case , but try Baur in short ranges, like when assaulting titan or on short maps like gibraltar, it's quite efficient and i think better than Voss on one shot mode, cause most powerful...u kill a guy with one bullet in the head, even from far... with Voss it will take u 2/3 bullets...

I first think than Voss and Ganz are the best wep of the game, But all guns have their own special qualities...depends of the maps and the way u play...

Hey Space I got it too! First time I have ever seen it. Picked it up from someone elses kit. Then spent the next 35 seconds that I was alive taking screen shots and hiding. Managed to shoot someone too. very good. What a great 35 seconds that was!

That gun is called the Bofors defense rifle, it's basicaly a scar with another skin (quite annoying, in fact, cause it eats half your screen).
You could get this gun by pre-orderinfg 2142... 4 years ago ^^.

But, every now and then, you end up picking a kit that has one.
