Battlefield 2142 v1.51 Public Beta

I guess they will tidy up the graphics on some of these maps. I was playing the snow one and the stairs/shadows looked pants. It was also a very one sided couple of games with 2-3 tanks guarding the roads out of the EU base. Still, fun at times.

does anyone know how to find your username for 2142? ive forgotten mine

Click on login, chuck in your email address and password for your EA account. Now it should list all your persona's and you need to choose one. If your 2142 account is linked to this account it will be one of these personas. Other than that I'd say you are screwed. Oh and the persona you are probably looking for will have EA classic screen name under it. At least mine does anyway

The new patch seems ok - I was seeing half a dozen servers. I'm liking having to use the disc - I'malso liking some of the new detail e.g. the building where the first flag is on Strike at Karkand - it has a couple of floors to go in and investigate.

Hopefully all will be well and more servers will be live pretty soon. Getting the Northern Strike maps will be fun again - I had installed it previously but when I changed laptop I could'nt get access to NS.

Its monday has the patch been finalised ?

No word on either the forums or twitter. I'm guessing they are looking into the handful of CTDs and the horrendous uav titan destruction bug before finalising it.

as soon as it will be released i ll jump back on 2142 to see how it fits ;-)

Still no word, it'll have to be repackaged anyway to fix the titan getting blown up with a uav bug.

i hope they fix the leader board so stats update properly ... you reckon they will ?

As far as I know the leaderboard will remain as is. This patch is mainly about stability, account security and hit registration fixes.
